Every day the bulletin board outside Pierre’s General Store randomly generates Help Wanted quest that you can complete in exchange for money and sometimes to increase friendship with the quest giver.
There are 2 Achievements associating with the completion of a Help Wanted Quest.
- Gofer: On completion of 10 ‘Help Wanted’ requests.
- A Big Help: On completion of 40 ‘Help Wanted’ requests.
Earning these achievements unlocks unique Hats at the Abandoned House in Cindersap Forest. In addition, the day after earning “Gofer”, Mayor Lewis will send 500g Gold in the mail. The day after earning “A Big Help”, Mayor Lewis will send 2,500g Gold in the mail.
There are 4 types of Help Wanted quests that can be posted. There is no penalty for accepting a quest and then not completing it. They are as follows:
- Slaying monsters
- Delivering items
Stardew Valley has several Story Quests unlocked during gameplay. There is no penalty for accepting a Story Quest involving item delivery and then deleting it from your journal without completing it.

Robin’s lost axe is a story quest provided through the mail. Robin, a local carpenter has lost her favorite axe. The last time she remembers using it, she was cutting wood south of Marnie’s ranch. Your task is to find her lost axe for her. Completion of these tasks will earn you extra money.
Let’s see how to find it:
1st Step: Go to south of Marnie’s Ranch.
2nd Step: Head to the mouse in Cinsdersap Forest.
3rd Step: Go to east of where the spring onions grow in that area.
4th Step: Look for the axe in the eastwardly side before you hit a wall, past some trees.
5th Step: Once you find it, take it to Robin’s Carpenter Shop and give it to her. The store is only open from 9 am to 5 pm so you will have to deliver the axe within this time frame.
